Almost 10,000 e-cigarettes allegedly arrived in the Podkarpacie region. Illegal goods detected in foreign shipments

Exactly 9,960 e-cigarettes with a total capacity of 119.5 thousand ml of liquid were seized, and the case will be handled by the Podkarpackie Customs and Tax Office in Przemyśl.

– If the goods were sold illegally, the state budget would lose nearly PLN 300,000 in unpaid customs and tax liabilities – informs the Fiscal Administration Chamber in Rzeszów.

An unusual shipment was discovered during an inspection of foreign parcels that were supposed to be sent to Podkarpacie. Initial suspicions about its contents were confirmed by the actions of uniformed officers from the Implementation Department of the Podkarpacie Customs and Fiscal Office in Przemyśl, conducted at one of the parcel sorting plants in our province.
