Lineth Beerensteyn will also miss the last match of the Dutch national team in the Nations League against Scotland on Tuesday. This was stated by national coach Andries Jonker during a digital press moment from Bremen, where the Dutch team will face Germany on Friday.

"Lineth is on schedule, but she will definitely not be there on Tuesday. We are confident that she will be fit on June 19 when we start preparing for the European Championship," said Jonker, who will be missing an attacker against Germany, Vivianne Miedema. "If it works out, we want to give her minutes against Scotland."

The Nations League is not the highest priority with the upcoming European Championship. "But it remains a top match against a top opponent. So you have to prepare your top", continued Jonker, who has Lize Kop in goal because Daphne van Domselaar is not fit. Van Domselaar won the Champions League with Arsenal last weekend by beating FC Barcelona.
