Comarch sells hospital software segment to another listed company

In its announcement, Sygnity announced that the value of the transaction will amount to approximately PLN 28 million.
On October 2nd, Comarch and Sygnity signed a preliminary agreement for the sale of Comarch HIS. The agreement is conditional. Its finalization will depend on the fulfillment of formal conditions related to the separation and registration of the organized part of the HIS enterprise into the new entity being the subject of the transaction.
All of Comarch's current hospital information system operations will be transferred to this company, Comarch announced in a press release.
Until the process of separating HIS into a separate entity is completed, the newly formed company will be able to use the Comarch trademark. The Comarch HIS sale transaction is expected to close by the end of this year.
" The finalization of this transaction will be a strategic step that, on the one hand, confirms the value and innovation of our HIS solutions, and on the other, opens a new, exciting chapter for our team and products within Sygnity. I am convinced that this combination will enable even faster development and maximize the market potential of the e-Health sector," says Marcin Romanowski, e-Health Sector Director at Comarch SA.
Comarch's sale of the HIS segment is the result of a strategic options review announced by the company's management board in January 2025 for the Public Administration and e-Health sectors. The goal of this process is to drive the global development of Comarch's operations.
