Fire in Venray town hall: counting of votes stopped
A municipal employee reported this to ANP. It is unclear how the fire started.
Around 3:00 a.m., the fire department reported that the fire had been extinguished. The building is being ventilated. According to the municipal employee, the ballots do not appear to have been damaged by the fire.
The municipality will consult with the Electoral Council later today about the further counting of the votes.
