KLM ground crew strike temporarily postponed

Last week , the court in Amsterdam banned an eight-hour strike, arguing it would be too drastic. Earlier, the court in Haarlem banned a 24-hour strike , also because it would pose too many safety concerns.
Chaotic scenesSchiphol had warned of chaotic scenes if KLM ground crews were to stop working for such an extended period. This included the risk that aircraft would temporarily be unable to land due to insufficient parking capacity. Flight cancellations could also leave many travelers stranded, potentially forcing them to spend the night in the terminal on camp beds or chairs.
