Sunk, outdated, now hyper-current again: the green yacht of a space pioneer

- The first Dutchman in space, Wubbo Ockels, saw his dream ship delivered in 2010.
- Shortly afterwards, the Ecolution was a victim of sabotage; the perpetrators were never found.
- The new owner, a foundation, has had the ship converted so that it can sail on hydrogen.
The sustainable sailing ship of astronaut Wubbo Ockels, who died in 2014, has been radically redesigned thanks to a radical overhaul. The Ecolution will therefore have a prominent role during Sail 25. It will also serve as a memorial to its former owner. "Like Ockels, I say: this is how we're going to do it, and no other way."
