Anita Doth has more balance in life after wild 2 Unlimited time

Anita Doth now has "more balance" in her life, after living the life of a pop star for years with the successful formation 2 Unlimited. "That's a must now, because I really notice when my body says: hello, it's been nice for a while", the 53-year-old singer said in an interview with De Telegraaf.
"I used to go into every adventure like a kind of Bambi with big, wondering eyes," says Doth about the time when she formed a duo with Ray Slijngaard. "But now I know what it means and how easily you are lived." Together, Doth and Slijngaard made world hits like No Limit, Get Ready for This and Nothing Like the Rain.
"The success of 2 Unlimited made so much possible, something that other people will not experience very quickly. We went to the most beautiful places," Doth reflects. "I actually led the life I had always dreamed of quite suddenly: the life of a pop star. Every day was basically one big party. We performed from Berlin to Tokyo."
Doth sometimes had trouble with the large number of performances of 2 Unlimited. "We would get a work schedule of hundreds of performances and I would ask when there would be time to take a vacation and rest. That was not appreciated. Then I was seen as 'difficult'."
