Guide to Imserso 2025-2026 trips: dates, destinations, prices, and how to book a seat

The Imserso travel machinery continues rolling. After the Institute for Seniors and Social Services sent letters confirming pensioners' accreditation to participate in the program, sales for trips for this 2025-2026 season are finally underway .
This edition "focuses on expanding the right to active aging without excluding people with lower incomes," the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption, and the 2030 Agenda stated in a statement. For this reason, 7,447 places have been reserved at a reduced rate of €50 for pensioners with fewer resources. Another new feature is the possibility of traveling with pets in some destinations.
Travel marketing datesImserso travel will be sold in stages , starting at 9:00 a.m. on the day indicated on the accreditation letter. In the autonomous communities of Asturias, Catalonia, Castilla-La Mancha, the Valencian Community, Ceuta, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, La Rioja, Navarre, and the Basque Country, sales begin on October 6 for preferred accredited members, on October 7 for non-preferred accredited members, and on October 8 for booking additional trips that remain available in the participant's province.
Meanwhile, in Andalusia, Aragon, Cantabria, Castile and León, Extremadura, Galicia, Madrid, Melilla, and Murcia, sales will open on October 8 for preferred ticket holders, on October 9 for non-preferred ticket holders, and on October 10 for booking additional trips available in the participant's province. Sales will continue throughout the season, provided there are available seats.
Imserso accreditations are based on a points system that depends on factors such as age, disability status, economic situation, participation in the program in previous years, and belonging to a large family. Each element adds points to the retiree, and the total sum determines whether or not they are eligible for preference .
How to reserve a place in the ImsersoPensioners can book their trip through the websites of the awarded companies : turismosocial.es for peninsular coastal trips and short breaks, and mundicolor.es for island coastal trips. To do so, they must enter their ID and their accreditation code (a four-digit number found on their accreditation letter). Alternatively, they can visit any authorized travel agency in person with just their ID.
