Asturias will pay travelers half of their rural tourism getaways.

Traveling to Asturias means entering a magical landscape of green meadows, rugged mountains, and wild nature, all seasoned with unique cuisine that won't leave you hungry for a single day. Plus, those planning a getaway to the Principality later this year are in luck, as it's now much cheaper.

The regional government has launched the Asturias Rural Tourism Voucher , a program that allows you to purchase €150 vouchers for €75 and redeem them for stays in rural accommodation . This way, your stay would be half price.

Trips from September to December

Interested users can purchase a €150 voucher for just €75 . The other half will be provided directly by the Asturias Administration, so travelers won't have to pay the full amount in advance. This voucher is digital, in QR code format, and is personal and non-transferable , meaning it can only be used by the person who requested it.

The voucher can be used from September 16th to December 31st, 2025, and can be requested now from the voucher's website. All you need to do is have a DNI (National Identity Document) or NIE (Foreigner Identification Number) and be over 18 years of age. Additionally, each person can use up to two vouchers per person per year .

Stays in rural accommodations

The vouchers can be redeemed for reservations at rural accommodations such as village houses or rural apartments participating in the program, which can be consulted on the Principality's website. If four or more places are reserved, two vouchers can be used for the same reservation. However, please note that the voucher is non-refundable and cannot be converted into cash. If it is not used in full within its validity period, the unused amount will be lost, and a refund cannot be requested.

The voucher's value will be deducted from the price of each reservation as we use it until it's used up. However, we can also redeem it in full with a single reservation. If the accommodation price is more than €150, we'll have to pay the difference. The only requirement is that each stay must be a minimum of two nights .
