The most viral photo in the world of padel: the contrast between Ale Galán's frustration and Chingotto's happiness after losing the final.

The final of the Paris Major padel tournament, held on the central court of the Roland-Garros complex, the legendary Philippe Chatrier, left us with a curious image after the match between Arturo Coello-Agustín Tapia and Ale Galán-Fede Chingotto, which ended with a resounding victory, 6-1 and 6-4 , in favor of the current world number ones.

Despite arriving in the grand final in a strong position (they beat Yanguas and Nieto in the semi-finals by 6-0 and 6-2), Galán and Chingotto were unable to counter the high level of Coello and Tapia , who were far superior from start to finish and imposed their game and style to once again beat the pair formed by the Spaniard and the Argentine, also increasing their victories in the history of confrontations, by 23-6.

Following this new defeat against the current leaders of the circuit, Ale Galán signed, without a doubt, the most significant photo of recent times at a trophy ceremony, as the Madrid native could be seen downcast, frustrated and with a sour face , while his teammate Chingotto displayed an impeccable face of happiness after another stumble in the title match.

Rumors of separation?

This scene, in fact, has been commented on on social media by padel fans and has raised certain doubts about the future and a possible separation between Galán and Chingotto , since according to a large number of users, the Argentine "does not have enough level" to compete alongside Ale for the major trophies on the circuit.

"It's clear that Chingo has reached his ceiling and it's a barbarity to compete with his limitations in a cross against Coello (left-footed and much taller), but Galán knows he's at the level of the 1 and that with him by his side, that's his limit "; "The only solid option is LeBrón, and it's impossible. Cardona is too young for those pitches, and Yanguas is a toss-up. I don't think the substitution is worth it, and he should look for it"; or " His frustration is due to his own mistakes, not Chingotto's..." , among others, are some of the comments that can be seen on social media.

The truth is that both, Galán and Chingotto, are obliged to raise their level to be able to sit at the same table as Coello and Tapia, since their victory in Genoa 2024 they have competed a total of 14 times against the number ones and have only achieved one victory , in the Rome Major, compared to 13 for Agustín and Arturo, a significant difference that could mark a before and after in the professional relationship between Ale and Fede.
