The dream of women's soccer at the Copa América is over: Argentina lost on penalties in the semi-finals to Colombia and will play for third place.

It wasn't to be for the Argentine national team . After a 0-0 draw in the 90 minutes of regulation, Colombia defeated them 5-4 on penalties, qualifying for the Copa América finals and will be one of the 16 women's teams at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games .
