Pachuca wins its first Champion of Champions

The reigning Liga MX Femenil champions reaffirmed their dominance to win their first Campeón de Campeonas title, which was played in the United States for the first time. Pachuca defeated Rayadas by the narrowest of margins with a goal from Nina Nicosia at Toyota Field in San Antonio, Texas .
The curse continues for Monterrey, as the third time wasn't the charm. The Monterrey team has played three of the five editions of the Campeón de Campeonas tournament so far, and has lost each time . This time, the Tuzas were their executioner after showing a notable superiority and a better understanding of the field.
During the first half, the action was even. Neither team decided to take any risks, so the ball was fought over in midfield for most of the time, creating a tight and fairly tight duel.
The stadium in the border city registered a below-expected attendance , however, that didn't stop the fans from being more charged to support the Gang members constantly through chants and shouts of encouragement.
However, Amelia Valverde's team struggled to reach the goal defended by Esthefanny Barreras with certainty, and the few arrivals that were recorded were resolved by the goalkeeper without any problems and with her characteristic confidence.
For the second half, Pachuca came onto the field with a noticeable improvement and without being so dangerous, they got the winning goal in the 53rd minute with Nicosia , who took advantage of a poor exit by the rival team and did not forgive said mistake, sending the ball into the back of the net.
It is worth noting that, in the 2025 Clausura, the Hidalgo club won its first Pink Circuit title , after beating América in the Final and now managed to lift its first Champion of Champions just two months later.
