Audi Field, a premium Club World Cup stadium near the White House

Audi Field, inaugurated on July 14, 2018, in the Buzzard Point neighborhood of Washington, D.C., is a modern and functional stadium that serves as the home of Major League Soccer (MLS) team D.C. United and will host three group stage matches of the Club World Cup. With a capacity of 20,000, it was designed to offer an intimate, close-to-the-field experience, with seats located just meters from the playing field.

In terms of infrastructure, it stands out for its innovative and sustainable design. It features a 35-degree incline in its stands, allowing for excellent visibility from all angles. It has been certified LEED Gold thanks to its green initiatives such as the use of efficient LED lighting, stormwater drainage systems, and the implementation of recycling and composting practices. These features underscore its commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment.

In addition to its state-of-the-art infrastructure, it offers a variety of amenities for attendees. It features 31 luxury suites, 1,500 seats on the field level, and 1,500 VIP seats, providing options for different preferences and budgets. The dining experience is led by renowned chef José Andrés, who has designed a menu that reflects the city's culinary diversity.

It hosts home matches for DC United and also for the Washington Spirit, the women's team that played a friendly against Arsenal of England there in August 2024. It has also hosted matches for the United States national team , such as the memorable 7-0 victory over Cuba in the CONCACAF Nations League in 2019, matches for the USA Eagles (rugby), and community events such as Sustainability Night, an annual event focused on sustainability, with educational activities and donations to local organizations.
