Krealo led the startup's funding round, marking its thirteenth investment in the region .
Remitee is an operating system that simplifies instant remittance sending by providing a comprehensive infrastructure that enables banks, fintechs, and retailers to embed cross-border payments directly into their platforms.
Currently, its technology enables payments in more than 50 countries in the Americas and Europe, combining liquidity, technology, and regulatory compliance.

“We invested in Remitee because of the opportunity it represents to continue developing our remittance management capabilities at Credicorp. Currently, various companies within the Group, such as Banco de Crédito del Perú, Yape, Tenpo, and Mibanco, already use this infrastructure, which has allowed us to streamline our ecosystem and strengthen this line of business,” commented Adolfo Vinatea, CEO of Krealo.
Founded in 2017, Remitee eliminates key barriers faced by traditional players—such as reliance on physical agent networks, costly transfers, and friction—by embedding remittance capabilities directly into institutions where people already trust and transact, eliminating the need for additional apps or cash pickups. It also enables the offering of direct cross-border payment services, such as bill payments (utilities, education, healthcare), prepaid cards, mobile top-ups, and more, through a single embedded integration .

“With Remitee, remittances now live within the same banks, fintechs, and retailers where migrants already trust and transact, eliminating the friction of having to leave those platforms to complete a transfer elsewhere,” said Sergio Saravia, CEO and co-founder of Remitee.
“Today, we offer our customers an international experience thanks to Remitee. Our users can send money to multiple countries digitally, securely, and in real time, without leaving the Credicorp ecosystem,” Vinatea added.
