Aristóteles 165 closed due to possible irregular activities

MEXICO CITY (apro) .- Mexico City authorities placed closure seals on the building located at Aristóteles 165, Polanco neighborhood, in the Miguel Hidalgo borough. Neighbors in the area reported unusual activity at the site, prompting an intervention by the Mexico City Institute for Administrative Verification (INVEA).
For several days, residents observed the constant entry and exit of unknown individuals. According to witness accounts, these individuals entered wearing one type of clothing and left wearing a different type of clothing. Armored vehicles were also reported to be parked in front of the building.
“My children thought it was a studio where they recorded Netflix or other television series, since they looked like artists or hostesses entering and leaving Aristóteles 165. However, as the days went by, we realized that something strange was happening on the street, as armored trucks were also driving around as if protecting someone suspicious,” said a neighbor who asked to remain anonymous for security reasons.
Following these complaints, INVEA personnel conducted an inspection visit. As a result, closure seals were placed on the main gate and one of the building's doors. The files visible in the captured images are dated October 24, 2025, with reference file INVEADF/OV/2026/2025.
The seals placed cite Article 286 of the Penal Code for the Federal District, which classifies the breaking of seals placed by authorities as a crime. The law provides for prison sentences or fines for anyone who alters objects or spaces under official custody.
The building shares a building with the Moon Pilates studio and is adjacent to the Silvia Galván Image Studio beauty salon, in one of Polanco's busiest pedestrian and vehicle areas. Authorities have not publicly reported the type of activity taking place inside the home.
The Mexico City government, under the administration of Clara Brugada, is maintaining operations against black market transactions or allegedly illegal activities in residential and commercial areas. These actions aim to protect the safety of families and prevent criminal acts in the capital, according to official reports.
However, it is unknown whether the capital's Prosecutor's Office has opened any files to verify the events reported in the neighborhood.
For weeks, various incidents of insecurity in Polanco have prompted federal and local authorities to strengthen surveillance mechanisms in buildings where risk situations could arise, especially in high-density urban areas like the Miguel Hidalgo borough.
As you may recall, three weeks ago, the influencer stylist known as "Micky Hair" was murdered in Polanco, prompting increased police patrols, including the flashing of sirens to signal proximity.
The INVEA (National Institute of Veterinary Medicine), headed by Jorge Salvador Esquinca Montaño, announced the continuation of inspections of establishments that may be operating illegally. The suspension measure at Aristóteles 165 will remain in effect while the investigation progresses, it was reported.
