Bribes at ANDIS: Fernando Cerimedo and his wife are reported

Lawyer Gregorio Dalbón filed a complaint against Fernando Cerimedo and his wife, Natalia Basil , before prosecutor Franco Picardi for concealment of identity . The case is part of the investigation into alleged corruption at the National Agency for Disability ( ANDIS ) . According to Dalbón, both were aware of a bribery scheme and failed to act in accordance with the law.
Fernando Cerimedo , founder of La Derecha Diario, testified as a witness that Diego Spagnuolo, former director of ANDIS , told him about a network of bribes and the distribution of public funds . Dalbón stated that Cerimedo had an obligation to report these events, and his failure to do so makes him a participant in the cover-up .
For her part, Natalia Basil , national director of Support and Economic Allocations at ANDIS , also failed to act despite learning of irregularities in the administration of funds allocated to people with disabilities. Dalbón emphasized that her role in the budget area increased her responsibility.
Last week, Fernando Cerimedo publicly confirmed that Spagnuolo's audio recordings were authentic. They detailed bribes, money distribution, and favors linked to contracts at ANDIS . These recordings were key to the federal court's opening of the case.
The investigation points to a scheme involving bribery and the misuse of public funds . It also examines political and business ties, including those with Karina Milei, sister of President Javier Milei , and the Menem family. This new accusation broadens the responsibility of those who were aware of the events but failed to report them.
Legal experts maintain that the complaint could lead to additional investigations into cover-up and complicity in corruption. The federal justice system continues to evaluate the evidence and testimony to determine the scope of the case and possible sanctions for Cerimedo and Basil .
In the midst of the case, Diego Spagnuolo's lawyers resigned from his defense, leaving the former director of ANDIS without legal representation in the Comodoro Py courts. The decision, attributed to "personal reasons," forces Spagnuolo to appoint a new lawyer to continue the investigation involving alleged bribes from the Swiss-Argentine government to officials, including Karina Milei, sister of President Javier Milei.
The resignation comes amid lingering doubts about whether the former official will file a complaint as a "collaborating defendant" and after requesting more time to respond to a motion to dismiss the case.
