Once the election was made official, Rappallini highlighted the unity of the industrialists to achieve the objectives of this new phase: " We have come to defend and enhance the industry, with responsibility and commitment . Our fundamental objective is to advance the construction of proposals and the active search for consensus." He added: "Argentine industry is the way to multiply all the opportunities we have in agriculture, mining, services, and energy. Multiplying opportunities means generating value chains . For that to happen, we need producing in Argentina to become good business again."
Regarding the competitiveness agenda, Rappallini addressed the UIA's comprehensive vision for the coming years: " Argentina needs to design a new productive contract . A contract that combines macroeconomic order with a vision of strategic development. One that leaves behind the pendulum between extreme protectionism and unregulated openness. One that recognizes industry as a fundamental pillar for job creation, foreign exchange generation, and territorial development . Therefore, our proposal is to work on regulations that generate a level playing field for those who produce in our country ."

Regarding the factors that undermine the competitiveness of the productive sector, Rappallini noted that " for too long, the national industry has been burdened with a series of distortions that have stifled its ability to compete . High tax pressure, chronic inflation, a lack of productive financing, labor rigidities, high logistics costs, legal uncertainty, a litigation industry, inefficient regulations, and an unstable macroeconomic structure are some of the elements that have undermined our competitiveness. And yet, the industry has continued to move forward."
The new president of the UIA also indicated that the world is “experiencing a historic moment for the industry . Within the framework of a new global order, production is regaining its prominence: economic, strategic, and geopolitical,” adding that “the world has understood—and Argentina must urgently accept this—that the only way to boost a solid and dynamic industry is by leveling the playing field between those who produce locally and those who do so abroad. We are a tradable sector that competes in quality and price with products from all over the world.”
Previously, Daniel Funes de Rioja concluded his term as president of the UIA by highlighting institutional continuity: "This new term is a continuation of the UIA's institutional life, with the same work, commitment, technical excellence, and industrial conviction that have been part of the identity of this business association for so many years."
