Junts opens the door to voting against debt relief: "They shouldn't try to trick us"

Mònica Sales, spokesperson for Junts in the Catalan Parliament, has opened the door for her party to vote against the debt forgiveness of the Autonomous Liquidity Fund (FLA) agreed between the Government and ERC and has warned that it could be a joke: "They should not try to trick us because this pact consolidates the deal for everyone."
At a press conference in the Parliament, Sales said that " all the communities will benefit " from the reduction, which is why "the proportional part that we Catalans will have to pay, which we will have to assume, will be the same." The spokesperson said that " this money belongs to the Catalans, so we do not have to thank anyone ."
According to Sales, the agreement will mean 200 million euros a year in interest, which does not solve the "financing problem and deepens the fiscal deficit."
The proposal made by Sales is the one that Junts has already repeatedly defended: the total forgiveness of its FLA debt, estimated at around 73 billion euros and far from the 17 billion agreed in the pact between the Government and ERC.
