MEXICO CITY.— This Tuesday, the US currency started the day with losses, being offered in international markets at 19.5688 pesos per dollar wholesale , according to the financial platform Investing .
At the start of today's foreign exchange market activity, the dollar fell 0.06%, or 0.0102 units.
The dollar closed Monday at 19.58 pesos per dollar and opened today at 19.57 pesos per dollar, representing an annual variation of 14.21%.
This Tuesday, April 29, 2025, the price of the dollar in Mexico opened the retail day with a maximum selling price of 20.79 pesos per dollar .
According to information from various banking institutions, at the opening, the US dollar is selling for up to 20.79 pesos at Bank of America branches, while the maximum purchase price is 19.048 pesos at Intercam bank counters.

At purchase, the lowest price is 18.35 pesos per dollar offered by Banorte bank, and the highest is 19.048 pesos per dollar offered by Intercam bank.

The global cryptocurrency market capitalization reached $2.97 trillion this morning, a 0.40% decrease compared to the previous day of trading.

For its part, the Bank of Mexico announced the exchange rate for debt payments denominated in US dollars, payable in Mexico, which it set at 19.5825 pesos per dollar.
Meanwhile, the 48-hour interbank rate was set at 19.5809.
According to The Economy Forecast Agency, yesterday, the dollar's exchange rate registered a variation of 0.16% compared to the previous day.
For Monday, April 28, 2025, the agency sets a maximum purchase price of 19.257 pesos per dollar, while its sales forecast is up to 19.843 pesos per dollar.
