ACDE invites companies with positive impact to participate in the Enrique Shaw Award

The 15th edition of the Award will recognise companies' environmental and community commitment. Since its creation, this award has highlighted high-value initiatives
The Christian Association of Business Leaders ( ACDE ) is launching the call for the 15th edition of the Enrique Shaw Award, a distinction that recognizes companies that develop projects with a positive impact on their communities. Since its creation, this award has highlighted initiatives with a strong social and environmental commitment throughout Argentina.

Since its creation more than three decades ago , the ACDE Enrique Shaw Award has recognized and promoted business commitment to human, social and environmental values throughout Argentina.
In its last five editions, 236 projects were received , of which 40 were awarded. Participation has been growing and diversified over the years: from 31 projects submitted in 2014, there were more than 50 in the 2019, 2021 and 2023 editions, with 58 SME participants and 154 large companies.
In the last edition, held in 2023 , 45 companies participated, presenting innovative projects in environmental care and social inclusion, and a company from Mendoza emerged as the winner.
In this edition, in the Large Companies category, the winners were Pampa Energía, for its initiative "A bridge to the future", a technical training program in renewable energy for young people, and Bodega Trivento, for its project "Winds of opportunity" , an educational program that grants scholarships for the completion of secondary and university studies, benefiting both its employees and the community in general .

In that same 2023 edition, in the SME Company category, the first prize went to Hidroper from Catamarca, with its project “La Higuera, Nutriente Productivo”, an initiative to develop rural communities by preserving century-old fig trees for their production.
As is traditional, the proposals will be evaluated by a jury made up of academic, business and social leaders, who will assess the innovation and impact of each initiative.
