UPD and request for responsibilityFor this reason, the Directorate of School Support (DAE) , dependent on the General Directorate of Schools , proposed some advice to address the routine that adolescents in the province practice when beginning the last year of secondary school.
Carina Gannam, director of School Support, explained to Los Andes that a guide was sent to the schools to help them understand how to welcome students on this day.
"From the DAE we have proposed to hold a shared breakfast , which brings together the students, their parents, teachers and management. But, in addition, we have proposed the idea of appointing a leader who acts as a reference within the group of children and has the role of communicating or calling a responsible adult, in case it is needed," he said.
"The UPD is not just a day, but parents should have that space for dialogue before the celebration. This is a before, during and after," the official reflected.
