Book Fair 2025: Today's Recommendations, May 4th

It's Sunday, and the long weekend concludes with talks, presentations, and activities featuring key figures. At 3 p.m. in the Clarín/Ñ cultural space, Nicolás Peralta will interview Maxi Fratino, author of the book 8 hilo (8 Threads) ; at 4 p.m., Natalia Ginzburg will interview the singers of the musical comedy When Frank Met Carlitos , Oscar Lajad and Lucas Gerson, which continues to fill venues on Corrientes Street.

At 5 p.m., Gustavo Fontán, director of the film El limonero real (The Royal Limon Tree); Irina Alonso, director of the play El entenado ( The Stepchild); and writer Gloria Peirano will discuss Juan José Saer in film, theater, and music . And at 6 p.m., Charly López will ask, "Where Do They Come From?" Stories of Sayings and Superstitions.
At 2:00 p.m., the 28th International Oral Storytelling Meeting "Storytellers and Storytellers" will close with the participation of Selene De la Cruz (Mexico), Laura Ferreira (Paraguay), Niré Collazo (Uruguay), and Dixi González Gamboa (Chile) in the José Hernández room.
At 3 p.m., a current topic: Influencers, Platforms, and Devices: we'll discuss digital dependence in the Youth Tribune; and at 4 p.m., Patricia Daleiro and Mario Massaccesi will present their book , "Let Go to Be Happy. Expanded Edition ," in the Carlos Gorostiza Room.
At 4 p.m., writer and artist Leonardo Vignau will present his book Desde Open Door at the Dunken Publishing stand.
An hour and a half later, Korean literature takes the floor: " What's next after Han Kang? What other authors are on the rise? From local authors to members of the South Korean diaspora, we'll review the country's literary history, recommending authors for all tastes," they invite. It will be held in the Future Zone.

At 5:30 p.m., Guatemalan Eduardo Halfon , one of this year's most anticipated visitors, will present his novel "Tarántula" in a dialogue with Hinde Pomeraniec in the Alfonsina Storni Room. At the same time, writer Erri De Luca will discuss his latest publication, "L'Età sperimentale ," organized by the Italian Institute of Culture and the Cultural Attaché of the Italian Embassy in the Victoria Ocampo Room.
Also at 5:30 p.m., writer Daniel Balmaceda will discuss Knights of the Dark in the Julio Cortázar Room; while in the Rodolfo Walsh Room, journalist Daniel Santoro will present his book "Nisman, Anatomy of a Crime" in a conversation with his colleague Cristina Pérez.

Four unmissable activities will take place at 7:00 PM: K-Pop Experience . A journey into the musical movement that gets the world dancing in Zona Futuro; panel 3 of the Latin American Writers' Dialogue with Uruguayan Diego Recoba, Cuban Marcial Gala, and Mexican Uri Bleier, along with Gabriela Saidón, in the Alfonsina Storni room; Yuri Andrujóvich in dialogue with María Rosa Lojo in the Domingo Faustino Sarmiento room; and journalist Hugo Alconada Mon will present his new book in the José Hernández room.
The event will close at 8:30 p.m. when Sebastián Wainraich presents his novel Patria y familia in the José Hernández room.
