The bank decided to adjust its brand identity after meeting the goals set out in its 2019-2024 strategic plan.
It's worth noting that this change in look will not only be reflected locally but will scale internationally. This also comes with the development of its new roadmap.
Mario Pardo Bayona, CEO of BBVA in Colombia, emphasized that the bank "is committed to a relationship model focused on the personal projects and needs of its customers, not on the financial products and services the bank offers. This way, it always places the customer at the center of the conversation and places trust as the fundamental axis."
BBVA also emphasized that its new identity represents a step toward closer communication and a more consistent approach to its mission of "Supporting your desire to reach further."

As part of this adjustment, the company's motto ("Are We Moving Forward?") is also being renewed to invite clients "to build a future together and aspire to become their trusted partner."
Added to this is the fact that BBVA's new positioning incorporates inclusion as one of its core principles. This is intended to represent all people, promoting a diverse culture that celebrates differences and champions equal opportunities.
This also aims to promote the use of clear and simple language, ensuring that all communication is understandable, accessible, and respectful.
