The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) acknowledged that it has a deficit in electricity generation to meet the energy demand in southern areas of the country, such as Yucatán, and in response, it designed a plan to mitigate the impact on the region's industrial sector, said Emilio Blanco, state president of Coparmex.
