The director of the New Hospital in Gómez Palacio has changed again
The Secretary of Health of Durango, Moisés Nájera Torres, appointed Héctor Rogelio Castañeda Escobedo as director of the New Hospital of Gómez Palacio, replacing Javier Cruz, who had only assumed the position last September 2024.
This movement seeks to strengthen the health sector in the region, establish coordinated work with the hospital's medical staff based on assertive communication, and improve care for users.
After receiving the appointment, Castañeda Escobedo thanked the state authority for its trust and support for the institution, which received another truckload of supplies from the SSD, including healing materials, intravenous solutions or serums, medications for in-hospital use and bottles of solutions.
He also noted that Luis Fernando Olvera Martínez, coordinator of Health Jurisdictions at the SSD in Durango, and Ezequiel Jurado, head of Health Jurisdiction No. 4, delivered a Minday brand anesthesia machine for use at the New Hospital in this city.
