Simi Veterinarians will give away limited-edition stuffed animals to cats that don't scratch the vet.

As part of its expansion plans, Farmacias Similares will open its new veterinary section, offering a plush toy to kittens who come in for a consultation and don't scratch the vet. An ambitious... and very optimistic proposal.
“We want to encourage peace, harmony, and good feline behavior,” declared the marketing director, while showing off a claw-proof (and illusion-proof) stuffed animal.

Cat owners, for their part, have questioned the idea's success, arguing that their cats "scratch even the mirror," so they don't believe a stuffed animal will change their long-standing behavior of chaos and destruction.
Collectible figures will be distributed to all kitties who visit the Simi PetCare clinics, which will be located right next to the clinic where people come after being mesmerized by the dancing mascots outside.

Veterinarians who treated cats with more fear than an unmuzzled pit bull celebrated the initiative: “Finally, the cats will have a real reason to behave, not just our internal pleas to the universe,” declared one veterinarian with multiple Band-Aids on her arms.
The Limited Edition Simi Cat plush will come with an embroidered phrase on the cap that says: “Meow-wonderful patient!” and it was announced that there will be six different models, to encourage owners to come in regularly and complete their vaccination schedule… and collectibles.
