During the People's Morning Press Conference , the president responded to the President of the United States , who last weekend expressed that he was not satisfied with the actions of Mexico and Canada to stop fentanyl trafficking.
The head of the federal Executive affirmed that the federal government is working to curb crime in the country, and coordination with the United States and Canada will allow intelligence actions to review the areas through which chemical precursors enter, where drugs are manufactured, their distribution networks and profit laundering.
He said that the high consumption of fentanyl is in the United States , so it is necessary to analyze which cartels operate in that country for this to happen and the money laundering of the profits.
He reiterated that Mexico will cooperate with the United States, as long as the country's sovereignty is respected.
"We are doing our part to reduce the insecurity rates and high-impact crimes in our country linked to drug trafficking and production."

The president added that "we must coordinate among the three countries, we are finding out where it comes from, where it enters, how it is distributed and that will give us a lot of information so that each person in their country can act."
The President hopes that an agreement with the United States will be reached this Friday, so she will seek to communicate with Donald Trump.
