Seventy-year-old man loses his life after his vehicle overturns

A septuagenarian lost his life on Wednesday afternoon after losing control of the steering wheel while taking a curve at excessive speed, after being crushed by his vehicle.

This is Lorenzo, 79 years old, who was driving a Chevrolet Chevy vehicle at excessive speed on Gustavo Diaz Ordaz Boulevard, in the municipality of Ramos Arizpe.

When taking a curve near the Cañadas del Mirador neighborhood, he lost control of the steering wheel and after going off the road, after hitting a guardrail, the vehicle fell into a stream at least 20 meters deep, leaving the unit with its tires facing the sky.

After the report was registered, paramedics from Civil Protection of Ramos Arizpe went to the scene, who once they managed to rescue the man and assessed him, confirmed that he no longer had vital signs, so they proceeded to report it to the authorities.

Municipal Police elements cordoned off the area, and later Criminal Investigation agents from the State Attorney General's Office began the corresponding field investigations.

While they were carrying out the investigation, Marco Aurelio, 49 years old, a resident of the El Escorial neighborhood, arrived at the scene and identified himself as the nephew of the deceased.

According to reports, Lorenzo, who was heading home, was allegedly not wearing a seat belt, which is what caused his vehicle to crush him, mainly his head.

Once the investigations were concluded, the body was ordered to be removed to be transferred to the SEMEFO in order to perform the legal autopsy and determine the causes of death.
