Rita Cetina Scholarship 2025: When will the first payment be deposited for students?

The first beneficiaries of the Rita Cetina Scholarship are just days away from receiving the first payment of their support on their Welfare cards, as announced by Julio León , national coordinator of Benito Juárez Welfare Scholarships .
The official explained that the first payment of the Rita Cetina Scholarship, which will benefit basic education students , is scheduled to be delivered during March.
Until March 28, public schools will deliver Welfare cards to beneficiaries of the social support created by Claudia Sheinbaum .
Initially, the Rita Cetina Scholarship will provide financial support to parents or guardians of public secondary school students in the country, who will receive a bi-monthly payment of 1,900 pesos. For families with more than one child in secondary school, an additional 700 pesos will be awarded for each additional student.
Student registration took place at the beginning of October and ended on December 18, 2024. The Ministry of Public Education (SEP) , headed by Mario Delgado , reported that more than 4 million 896 thousand students had registered.
So far, the authorities have not announced when registration for primary and preschool students will begin. Parents and guardians are advised to stay tuned for official announcements regarding the dates and registration processes for the Rita Cetina Scholarship .
The delivery of Rita Cetina Scholarship cards is taking place in public secondary schools throughout Mexico. This process will run until March 28, 2025.

The student's school authorities can also advise parents on the delivery of the card.
Parents and guardians of high school students must present the following documentation to receive the card:
- From the student:
- Birth certificate (original and copy).
- CURP (original and copy).
- Current proof of studies (original and copy).
- From the father, mother or guardian:
- Current official identification (original and copy).
- CURP (original and copy).
- Proof of address no older than three months (original and copy).
If you are unable to attend on the scheduled date, you can reschedule the delivery of the card by going to the State Representation Auxiliary Office (SARE) closest to your child's school.
