Manolo Jiménez delivers and launches social projects in the ejidos of General Cepeda

The governor of Coahuila, Manolo Jiménez Salinas , led the delivery and start of paving works in different ejidos of the municipality of General Cepeda, with a total investment of 23.4 million pesos, as part of the state program Obras Sociales a Pasos de Gigante.

Accompanied by Mayor Mayra Verónica Ramos Rodríguez , the president supervised the work carried out in the El Tejocote and Dos de Abril ejidos (common lands) and began new projects in Agua de Mula, La Luz, and Colón. According to official information, the projects cover more than 22,900 square meters of pavement, benefiting hundreds of rural families.

The governor noted that the works are part of a strategy to improve connectivity and mobility in rural communities, in addition to strengthening the municipality's social infrastructure.

For his part, the general coordinator of Mejora Coahuila, Gabriel Elizondo Pérez, reported that the work on the three aforementioned ejidos represents an investment of approximately 6 million pesos within the same state program.

Mayor Ramos emphasized that, during the current municipal administration, six rural roads have been paved, an investment considered historic for the town.

At the event, José Adelmo Llamas, the ejido commissioner of El Tejocote, thanked the authorities for the construction work, noting that "the paving of this road was a dream for the ejido's residents."

According to data from the state government, the Obras Sociales a Pasos de Gigante program seeks to improve the quality of life in communities through basic infrastructure and direct benefit projects in various municipalities in Coahuila.
