CDMX Verification 2025: Learn about the new payment amounts

The Ministry of the Environment (SEDEMA) recently announced the new amounts for the payment of the 2025 Vehicle Inspection in Mexico City. This update is in accordance with the new amount defined for the Measurement and Update Units (UMA) in the country.

These new amounts began to be implemented officially on February 1 of this year. Remember that to access this procedure it is necessary not to have debts of ownership, violations and environmental sanctions.

What is the cost for CDMX 2025 Verification?

Through a statement, Sedema published the list of payment amounts for the respective holograms circulating in Mexico City.

The cost of verification in CDMX 2025 for holograms type 0, 1 and 2 is 738 pesos . This is broken down into 5,625 Measurement and Update Units (UMA) plus 16% VAT, which is equivalent to 636.42 pesos plus VAT.

In addition, drivers were reminded of the official calendar for the verification of vehicles registered in the capital . Remember that this continues to apply according to the last digit of the license plate and the color of the sticker.

The calendar was as follows:

5 and 6 - Yellow - January and February

7 and 8 - Pink - February and March

3 and 4 - Red - March and April

1 and 2 - Green - April and May

0 and 9 - Blue - May and June
