At least nine dead in Russian drone attack on bus in Sumi

At least nine people were killed in a Russian drone attack on a bus heading to the northeastern Ukrainian city of Sumi, Sumi's acting mayor, Artem Kobzar, said Saturday.

"Unfortunately, the death toll has risen to nine," he wrote on his Telegram account.

According to Kobzar, an enemy drone hit a bus near Bilopillia , also injuring four people.

The head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleg Grigorov, said that civilians were traveling on the bus.

The vehicle was heading to the city of Sumi, he added.
