After massive blackouts, Spain is recognized by Greenpeace for its contribution to the environment.

Cave Peninsula.- Greenpeace has publicly congratulated Spain for its commendable efforts to reduce the planet's carbon footprint, following the recent blackouts that left almost the entire country without power.

In what is a global example, Spain has achieved what few nations have: drastically reducing its carbon footprint in a matter of hours, thanks to power outages that left half the country in the dark.

Spain is a global example.

“The Earth cries with joy to see entire cities operating by moonlight, just like in the old days,” said one activist, clapping beneath a handmade wax candle.

According to sustainability and vegan experts, shutting down the national electricity system is the solution the world needed, although they acknowledge that this approach may have some impact on essential activities such as transportation, hospitals, and bullring lighting.

The Greenpeace recognition includes a certificate made of recycled paper, which will be presented to the Spanish president in an eco-friendly ceremony lit solely by fireflies from the Andalusian region, as a sign of respect for the conscious peninsula.

There is already talk that other countries will try to follow the Spanish example and begin implementing these types of systematic blackouts in order to receive a certificate from the non-profit and ineffective collective organization.

For its part, Spain will begin to capitalize on its new image as an eco-friendly nation with slogans like "Spain: come, turn off, and you will conquer" or "Darkness is the future," intended to attract hordes of hippies, CrossFitters, and gluten-intolerant people.

And to keep up to date: a couple of influencers wanted to film themselves on the beach and the sea, and they almost got it.
