3 world-class concerts to enjoy in Buenos Aires

The virtuoso musician presents his most recent work, Hay que Seguir, live on March 14 at 9 pm at the Teatro Presidente Alvear (Av. Corrientes 1659, CABA). It is announced as a unique night in which the artist will perform live the five albums that are part of his new record work, released simultaneously. A comprehensive proposal that summarizes his musical path, his present and a future full of hope. It is worth remembering that Luis Salinas is one of the most recognized Argentine artists in the world , launching an unprecedented project: five albums published simultaneously. This release includes Solo Guitarra, Música Argentina, Latin I and II, and Los Salinas. Five pieces that cover genres, influences and emotions developed over nine years of creative work. The sonic diversity of these five productions —from Argentine folklore to the heartbeat of Latin American music and the warmth of contemporary jazz— invites you to immerse yourself in a sound universe without fragmentation.
Within this comprehensive work, the main focus falls on Los Salinas, a material in which he shares the spotlight with his children Rita and Juan, thus reflecting the passage of time, the artistic present and the promise of what is to come. The central theme Hay que seguir, dedicated to the memory of Silvia Alegre, Juan's mother, expresses the value of resilience and family strength, connecting past and present in an intimate and transcendent proposal. "I thank God for having made this dream possible. This album is the most important of my career because I have the blessing of sharing it with my children. The complete work represents what happened in all this time, what is happening now and what is coming," said Luis, who also extends his recognition to all the musicians who participated with commitment, friendship and love for music: Carlos Santana, Juan Carlos Liendro and Walter Daniel García. He also mentions Wily Muñoz, Oscar Daniele and the people of FaroLatino for believing in this work, and ends by remembering his parents, who accompany him from heaven. Los Salinas is the generational encounter between Luis Salinas and his children Rita and Juan, a musical proposal that integrates experience, identity and family heritage. This formation reflects the dialogue between past and present, projecting a collective and inclusive future within the Latin American musical panorama. The fusion between the guitar master and the creative voices of his children gives life to an intimate, diverse and authentic ensemble. Find more information about tickets here .
Miguel MateosCelebrating the 40th anniversary of his live album Rockas Vivas, on Thursday, July 3, at 8 p.m., he will perform at the Movistar Arena (Humboldt 450, CABA). As one of the most important and influential musicians on the continent, it is worth remembering that Miguel Mateos ' songs were a source of inspiration for generations of colleagues around the world. Released in 1985, the year of the explosion of national rock and pop, in the midst of democratic recovery, Rockas Vivas became an extraordinary commercial and artistic success, both in Argentina and throughout Latin America. It was presented in August of that year with four sold-out dates at the Luna Park, which also marked a milestone in attendance for a national artist. With songs such as Perdiendo el control, Va por vos, para vos, Tirá para arriba, Un poco de existencia, Un gato en la ciudad and En la cocina (Huevos), he continues to mark generations to this day. Here the musician explains the genre of his mega hit Tirá para arriba:
About this 40th anniversary, Mateos evaluates: “ Today, when artificial intelligence puts together a song for you in seconds, of the genre you choose, and suggests lyrics with the content you prefer, with the preconceived and stolen ideas of the music universe in a cloud. Today, when this mere concoction of algorithms (for now) that only reproduces what has already happened begins to control us, I decided to do a retrospective because I realized the overwhelming force of songs made with fire, blood, sweat and tears. I celebrate 2025 with all of you.” Find more information about the tickets here .

It was one of the best-selling albums of the 2000s, so I hope it has an impact 20 years later.”
As James humbly approaches national treasure status in his native UK , he is widely recognised for his honesty, wit and charm, as demonstrated on his records and on stage. “ I’ve been touring for 20 years and really, it’s just Back To Bedlam that people want to hear… so, on the 20th anniversary of that album, what better way to celebrate than with the Back To Bedlam 20th Anniversary Tour?” he explained. “I’ll be performing every song on the record from start to finish and then throwing in the best-known songs from my other albums to finish.
