Sports on TV: Wimbledon and more in Sky's summer

There is not only the novelty of the channel dedicated to basketball in the summer of Sky but many other sports. In tennis, of course, Wimbledon reigns supreme, starting on June 30 and with the announcement of the acquisition of the rights until 2030. Marzio Perrelli, Executive Vice President Sport of Sky Italia, points out. "We are very pleased to have acquired important rights in sports areas of great interest and tradition such as tennis and basketball. These agreements will allow us to exclusively tell our subscribers about the next six editions of a unique event like Wimbledon and the next three seasons of EuroLeague and EuroCup with the best of European basketball". And, remaining on tennis, from August 24 there is the US Open.
As for swimming, there are the World Championships taking place in Singapore from 11 July to 3 August, for fencing the World Championships in Georgia from 22 to 30 July, rugby is well represented by the Under 20 World Cup scheduled in Italy from 29 June to 19 July.
Added to all this are Formula One, the MotoGP, football with the Premier League starting on August 15th, and golf's Ryder Cup in September.
