Real Madrid will challenge PSG in the second semi-final of the Club World Cup . At the MetLife Stadium in New York, the Spaniards beat Borussia Dortmund 3-2 at the end of a match that provided the strongest emotions in the minutes of recovery: the decisive goals were from youth players Gonzalo and Fran Garcia and the new arrival Mbappé . Real Madrid finished with ten men after Huijsen was sent off at the end (straight red for a foul as the last man), the former Juve player will miss the semi-final.

Real Madrid had full control of the match from the start. Xabi Alonso 's team took the lead in the 10th minute: Guler looked up and crossed into the center of the area where Gonzalo Garcia was waiting, scoring his fourth goal in the competition. Borussia's reaction doesn't come, Real manages it without much trouble, coming close to scoring a third goal on a couple of occasions. Modric and Mbappé come in for Vinicius and Bellingham, then injury time arrives and the game changes completely. In the 92nd minute, Borussia closes the gap with Beier , who takes advantage of a mistake by Rudiger and beats Courtois. Real takes a moment to react: cross by Guler and half-bicycle kick by Mbappé who then celebrates by remembering Diogo Jota . It's the 94th minute. Is it over? Nope. Ball in the center and Borussia closes the gap again. Huijsen brings down Guirassy in the area, red card for the defender and penalty kick that the Franco-Guinean doesn't miss. Borussia's last assault comes in the 99th minute: Courtois denies Sabitzer the goal for 3-3 and takes Real to the semifinals.

The two semi-finals will both be played at the MetLife Stadium in New York. Tuesday 8 July at 21:00 Fluminense-Chelsea , Wednesday 9 July always at 21:00 Psg-Real Madrid . The final that will award the trophy is scheduled, again in New York, on Sunday 13 July at 21:00.
