Pistoia, May 30, 2025 – They courted her and finally received her consent to participate: it is a real coup that the Gruppo Sportivo Avanguardia 1953 has achieved: Clara Mondonico , the daughter of the popular soccer coach Emiliano , who passed away prematurely, will also be there on the evening of Friday, June 13, 2025 at the “Frascari” in Pistoia for the Tournaments of the 72nd anniversary of the foundation of the Gruppo Sportivo Avanguardia 1953, a historic and praiseworthy soccer club for all.
Youth soccer tournaments for Primi Calci (age group 2016), Esordienti (2012), Pulcini (2014) and Piccoli Amici (2018-19), scheduled for five evenings. The competitions, this year dedicated to Amelio Tosi, coach of the Avanguardia who recently passed away, and to Emiliano Mondonico , are underway: on May 17 it was the turn of the Piccoli Amici, on the 24th it was the turn of the Primi Calci, tomorrow Saturday May 31st from 5 pm it will be the turn of the Esordienti, on Friday June 6th from 7 pm to the Pulcini and finally on Friday 13th from 6 pm again to the Piccoli Amici .
The presence of the president of the Tuscan Regional Committee of the National Amateur League Paolo Mangini , the provincial delegate of Pistoia of the FIGC Roberto D'Ambrosio and representatives of the Tuscany Region and Banca Mutua Alta Toscana have guaranteed, but there will be other illustrious guests. "We also opted for the figure of Emiliano Mondonico - explains the communications manager of Avanguardia, Milena Corsini - after our participation in the Mondonico National Award for companies that operate in the social sector and which saw us among the first Italian youth football companies.

During the evenings, the editorial work Le Filastrocche di Nonno Renzo (author one of the founding fathers of the Avanguardia, Renzo Corsini ) will be distributed to those present, focused on the history of the Avanguardia and the values of sport, published thanks to the contributions of Banca Mutua Alta Toscana, Regione Toscana and Milena Fiori and sponsored by the Tuscan Regional Committee of the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti.
Finally, Avanguardia reminds that also for the 2025-26 season the free Football School for children from 6 to 11 years of age is confirmed.
