The Lombardy municipality where all the candidates are center-right

ARCISATE – On Sunday and Monday, the citizens of Arcisate will be called to elect the new mayor and the city council. A return to the polls well in advance since the administration was renewed in June 2024, with the confirmation, a year ago, for the second term of the outgoing mayor Gianluca Cavalluzzi . In January of this year the crisis, with the resignation of the opposition councilors and members of the majority, then the "everyone home" and the commissionership. Sunday and Monday the voters, 8620 entitled to vote , return to the voting booth to decide the administrative future and therefore the next five years of government of the municipality. There are four candidates for the office of mayor, who more or less explicitly gravitate in the orbit of the center-right. The Democratic Party is absent from the appointment with the vote. Candidates and lists propose their own vision for the future of the country and programs in which the priorities are indicated. For everyone, the country has a central role in the territory of Valceresio.

Gianluca Cavalluzzi is running for a third term, supported by the list “Arcisate Oggi e Domani”, with a project that focuses on renewal and continuity with the previous experience. The priorities are the safety of the Monte Rho landslide, for which funds must be recovered, then the repair of the roads, the creation of a space for young people, with the recovery of Villa Teresa.

Antonino Centorrino is the candidate of “Uniti per Arcisate”, he presents himself as an expression of active participation and attention to the territory. The priorities concern the completion of unfinished works, such as Villa Teresa, to be allocated to associations and cultural activities, therefore the relaunch of commerce and road safety.

Maurizio Mozzanica represents the list "Centrodestra per Arcisate", supported by the united forces of the center-right (Lega, FI, FdI), the program was developed on the basis of meetings with citizens, among the urgent interventions the reorganization of municipal offices in lack of staff, therefore attention to services and transportation in the direction of tourism development, the valorization of the excellences of the territory.

Giacomo Vinoni is the candidate of the list “Arcisate nel Cuore” the priorities are maintenance and urban redevelopment, in the center and in the hamlets, promoting a listening point for citizens, interventions on roads, sidewalks, lighting, the strengthening of road and rail connections.

The Democratic Party and the center-left are absent. “The absence of the center-left in these administrative elections for the Municipality of Arcisate is a great regret” said Alice Bernardoni , provincial secretary of the Democratic Party, who added “For this administrative round, the Democratic Party is not giving any voting instructions to the citizens of Arcisate”.
