Senate approves Article 2, separation of careers passes

The Senate Chamber gives the green light to Article 2 of the bill on the separation of magistrates' careers. The text modifies Article 102 of the Constitution by specifying that the rules regarding the judiciary "also regulate the distinct careers of judging and prosecuting magistrates". The subsequent Articles 3 and 4 specify and articulate the principle of the separation of careers and of the two CSMs for the two magistracies. All the opposition's proposals for amendments were previously rejected.
