Duties, Tajani: “I believe an agreement will be reached by July”

"I believe that tariffs are not convenient for anyone, they damage those who impose them and those who suffer them. I believe that an agreement will be reached by July, the talks are not going badly. The Americans are right about the trade deficit, since the American market is important for us Europeans, I believe that we must invest more in the US, buy more products and at the same time continue to export. I believe that this could be a good agreement". This was stated by Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of the "Day of Truth".
