After more than 580 days of war, more than 52 thousand people killed by Israeli bombings (including over 18 thousand minors) and 120 thousand wounded (Wafa data), the Gaza Strip is collapsing.

It is now clear to everyone that Israel's final objective was not the response to the Hamas attack, but rather the destruction of any Palestinian entity for the purpose of a total annexation of the entire territory and control of the entire area, functional to the imperialist and ethical-cultural supremacist vision of Western "democracies": the extermination of the Palestinian people, the full occupation of Gaza, the deportation of its inhabitants, forced displacement with blanket bombardments, the systematic destruction of all civil, educational and health structures, the killing of doctors, nurses, journalists, NGO, UN and UNRWA (the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees) staff, the closure of all passages to prevent aid and a siege due to hunger and thirst that is killing thousands of people, especially children.

What is this if not genocide?

In Gaza, humanity is dying, but also Europe, which covers up the crisis of the industrial economic systems imposed by international finance with the relaunch of the arms industry, forgetting its own past and the idea that moved its construction (starting from the Ventotene Manifesto-1941).

We will all be asked to account for this genocide, which is the greatest massacre since the end of the Second World War, for not having seen what was happening in Israel since the Nakba (1948), for not having listened, for having turned away, for having justified 77 years of colonization, in the name of the security of a State, that of Israel, at the expense of a people, the Palestinians.

We Italians will be asked to account for the massacre of a people by one of our ally, the behavior of a Government that supports the military actions of the State of Israel, maintains cooperation agreements and strengthens its military ties with the Israeli war apparatus.

While in Gaza people are dying.

It is necessary to work for a mobilization starting from our reality to break the silence, make known the ongoing massacre, build a widespread solidarity towards the Palestinian people, boycott the fascist Israeli government by interrupting all diplomatic and economic relations, respecting the ICC arrest warrant against Netanyahu, recognize the State of Palestine.

We propose a united demonstration of those, associations, parties, citizens, recognizing themselves in the values ​​of our Constitution and beyond the different sensibilities and experiences, want to stop the genocide in Palestine, stop the war, reaffirm international law and justice.
