An image of Villa Almerici in Candelara, at the centre of an important negotiation
Pesaro, June 27, 2025 – Jeff Bezos may never come to Candelara to get married because there is no Grand Canal. But for Villa Almerici (later Berloni), an important turning point is approaching. Because this beautiful residence could leave the confines of provincial events to become a national attraction. Next week, in fact, Bobo Cerea will be at Villa Almerici, with professionals in tow and all his staff. Many will ask: but who is this Bobo Cerea ? Here he is: he and his brothers, all from Bergamo, run an empire made up of over a thousand employees, active not only in catering, but also in the organization of events with a turnover of over 100 million. Their strong point is the chain of restaurants “Da Vittorio” which in total add up to 7 Michelin stars and are the first in this field ever in Italy. In the restaurant business, they are the highest expression, so much so that they are also a point of reference for one of the richest men in the world, Bernard Arnault, president and CEO of LVMH (Louis Vuitton), who entrusted the Cerea family, at no cost, with the management of the bar-restaurant of the large store that this fashion giant has opened in Via Montenapoleone in Milan .
Confirmation of this interest also comes from the lawyer Roberto Venturini who, together with the accountant Lucio Santin, has been managing the concordat of this structure for over ten years . Villa Almerici includes, in addition to the historic residence that saw Luigi Vanvitelli among the designers, for the buttresses, a small church, an eighteenth-century block built for the servants and the stables, as well as a large amphitheater. All for a total of 16 hectares.
"I confirm the rumor that has been circulating in some city circles for a few days - says Roberto Venturini - because in a few days Bobo Cerea will arrive in Pesaro for an inspection of Villa Almerici. If everything goes well, it would be a great opportunity for the entire city because the level of this family is very high and there are also big entrepreneurs from Milan moving around him. So it cannot be ruled out , at a later time, that a Lombard group could be created that would also be willing to buy Villa Almerici. There are also rumors that Bernard Arnault himself could also enter the Cerea company with shares".
This residence of the Almerici family, one of the most powerful and rich families of the 18th century, has been on the market for over 10 years. Together with the Candelara villa, they also owned the entire property that now houses the Oliveriana library. Unpurchasable by a private individual – valued at just under ten million – it could instead be used as a location for large weddings and high-level events. And these are precisely the plans of the Cerea family. There is also talk of a heliport.
