The Illy reorganization is concluded: Daria leaves and sells the shares of the safe to Andrea and Anna

MILAN – The upstream reorganization of Illy coffee is complete, with the exit of Daria – Riccardo's daughter – and the transfer of her shares to her uncles Andrea and Anna, brother and sister of Riccardo himself, who had already withdrawn from the coffee business to dedicate himself fully to the Polo del gusto, which brings together the food and beverage brands.

The move concerns Holding Illy spa, the family safe that is at the top of the control chain of IllyCaffè spa. As detailed in a note, the 19% share in the hands of Daria passes – through the subholding Gruppo Illy spa – into the hands of Andrea and Anna who thus obtain equal control.

The operation, the note explains, represents the completion of a process that began in 2021, which "has as its objective the best realization of the interests of the Group and the individual interests of the members". "After more than 16 years of active commitment to the Group - adds the note - having previously left all operational roles in the Group's companies, Daria Illy gratefully concludes her experience with the Group to dedicate herself to new professional challenges", oriented towards ESG issues and international projects with a particular focus on Italy, the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
