Gentili Mosconi publishes the 2024 sustainability report

Gentili Mosconi , a group listed on Euronext Growth Milan of Borsa Italiana and a Benefit Company, active in the creation, production, printing and customization of fabrics serving the main international players in the luxury world, has presented its 2024 Sustainability Report , which recounts a year of investments confirming its vision of responsible growth, which generates economic value and positive impact for the entire supply chain, enhancing the territory.

“The report shows how, during 2024, we were able to continue with the investment plan and commitments as a Benefit corporation while maintaining the five values ​​that guide us every day: responsibility, beauty, tradition, well-being and courage,” said Francesco Gentili , President and CEO of Gentili Mosconi. “Initiatives that will allow us to solidly face the upcoming market challenges, strengthening the group's positioning, consolidating the production chain, and expanding skills and synergies. Corporate and sustainability objectives that we have achieved with the commitment of everyone, collaborators, customers, suppliers and shareholders, whom I thank for their constant support.”

2024 was the year of consolidation of a path already started in all areas: environmental , organizational , productive and cultural . The group completed the renovation of a new 4,000 m2 plant designed to integrate in a single space the logistics warehouses, the purchasing office, production, quality control of the finished accessory and the area for shipping the goods.

The new headquarters also represents a further step forward from the point of view of sustainability, reducing climate-altering emissions thanks to greater operational efficiency. From the point of view of production, Gentili Mosconi has invested to expand the offer , introducing a new line of customized men's accessories, which is developed by a dedicated team. Furthermore, a new laboratory for the hemming of garments dedicated to the creation of samples and small production runs has been brought in-house. A new unit that allows the group to create prototypes and customized samples in-house, reducing response times and strengthening quality for the end customer.

The achievement of the UNI PDR 125:2022 certification for gender equality is also at the heart of the social balance sheet, a milestone that reflects a corporate culture that is always attentive to equity, inclusion and the quality of working life.

Attention to people has always been one of the pillars for the group, which over the years has been committed to training with over 4,200 hours provided, up 61% compared to 2023, and organizational well-being . An internal Cohesion Team path has been developed, which in 2024 involved approximately 28 people for 15 thematic meetings, with the aim of accompanying the growth of harmonizing processes and corporate culture.

Gentili Mosconi has also continued to invest in the active involvement of the supply chain, promoting a collaborative approach to sustainability, in accordance with goal 17 of the United Nations Agenda 2030 , entitled “ Partnership for the Goals ”. An example of this is participation in the Fili di Innovazione project, a Como-based start-up that unites competing companies in an open innovation logic for the digital transition of the sector.

Confirming a vision also oriented towards the protection of knowledge and cultural heritage, at the end of 2024 the Gentili Mosconi ETS Foundation was created, which promotes initiatives in the area of ​​training, research and textile and creative culture, also in collaboration with Como UNESCO Creative City.
