China looks to Gorizia for future investments

Among David Orzan's goals, as a global ambassador for the Gorizia region's excellence, is to bring China and Gorizia closer together, promoting the city, its landscape, and its unique characteristics, and encouraging investment from Asian companies. This is precisely the purpose of the meeting organized by the Gorizia entrepreneur at City Hall between Mayor Rodolfo Ziberna and Li Yongping, president of the Ningbo Chamber of Commerce in Europe, who has important contacts and a distinguished track record in economics. It was an opportunity to discuss potential investments in Gorizia, leveraging its characteristics and geographic location.
Li Yongping holds a degree in economics, is a professor at the Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, an entrepreneurial mentor at Guangzhou University, a member of the asset securitization research group at the State Council Development Research Center, and is also president of the Ningbo Chamber of Commerce in Europe. The mayor expressed his satisfaction: "It was a very productive meeting, opening up concrete development prospects that would have significant economic benefits for our region. We discussed potential investments in Gorizia, which undoubtedly attracts great interest due to its characteristics and, above all, its geographic location, given its proximity to airports and ports. I thank David Orzan for facilitating this opportunity to meet."
"Promoting Gorizia and its heritage in Italy and abroad and encouraging investment within the municipal area for the exclusive benefit of the local community's development" is precisely the purpose of the award of honor for the Ambassador of Gorizia's Excellence to the World. This role is entirely voluntary, granted by the mayor following a reasoned resolution of the City Council. David Orzan was chosen for his extensive experience abroad, primarily in the winemaking field, and forging fruitful business relationships with companies operating primarily in China.
