The city of Busto Arsizio is preparing to experience a series of events to celebrate Republic Day , starting from Monday 2 June 2025. The celebrations will take place with institutional, cultural and musical moments designed to involve the entire community.

On Monday morning at 9:00 at the Portichetto delle Memorie and at 9:30 in Piazza Trento e Trieste , the traditional flag-raising ceremony will be held, with the participation of city authorities, law enforcement and local associations. In the afternoon, at 17:00 in the Tramogge hall , the students who participated in the “ La Costituzione tra i banchi ” competition will be awarded, aimed at third-year middle school and high school classes in Busto Arsizio, promoted by the municipal administration with the Department of Educational Policies, in collaboration with Galleria Boragno and prominent figures such as Professor Carla Vetere, Lieutenant Colonel Enzo Ciaraffa and Doctor Francesco Gaeta. The day will end with a concert at 21:00 , in the courtyard of the Town Hall, by the Pro Busto and Liceo Candiani Bausch wind orchestras (in case of bad weather, the evening will take place in the Pro Busto Hall).

On Tuesday 3 June the initiatives will continue with the presentation, at 12.15 in the meeting room, of the 3rd Formula Driver AICS Città di Busto Arsizio , a car event scheduled for 8 June in the industrial area of ​​Sacconago, organized by the Rally Sportclub Association of Busto Arsizio. At 17.00 in the conference room of the Textile Museum the final event of the educational project “ Accountants… return to school ” will be held, created by the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts, which involved more than 1,000 primary school students, awarding prizes to the most significant works dedicated to the reflection on public services.

On Wednesday 4 June, at 11:00 in the council room, the Festa della Pizza 2025 will be presented, while at 14:00 the Regional Councillor for Security and Civil Protection, Romano La Russa , will visit a property confiscated from the mafia and now used for the job reintegration project “Officina del sapere”, managed by the volunteer organization San Vincenzo de' Paoli. The visit is part of the regional tour “Confiscated assets in Lombardy”. At 17:30 the Brass Quintet of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala will perform in a concert at the Cascina Brughetto in viale Boccaccio, with the contribution of the Lombardy Region and the collaboration of ALER Varese, Como, Monza Brianza and Busto Arsizio.

Finally, on Thursday 5 June, at 12.00 at Villa Tovaglieri, the first edition of the BA Rock festival will be presented, which will take place on 14 and 15 June in the park of the Textile Museum, a new cultural proposal that will enrich the Bustocca summer.
