Rockets celebrate 50 years of career at Castello di San Giusto

The inventors of space rock and pioneers of electronic music, they have inspired global bands such as Daft Punk and Depeche Mode, the Rockets have made the history of rock and electronic music and are celebrating 50 years of career with The Final Frontier tour , which on Friday 1st August will make them “fly into orbit” at the Castello di San Giusto in Trieste .

They will be among the world stars of the concert series organized by VignaPR and Good Vibrations Entertainment as part of “Trieste Estate 2025”, the event promoted by the Municipality of Trieste with PromoTurismoFVG and Trieste Convention and Visitors Bureau. Tickets for the Rockets concert will be on sale from 10:00 on Tuesday 3 June 2025 online at Eilo.it, Ticketone.it, Eventim.si, at Ticketpoint in Trieste and at all authorized sales points.

There aren't many bands that can claim to have invented a musical genre: with their futuristic sounds, silver costumes and space-like sets, the French Rockets can say they did, and for 50 years they have been spreading the word of Space Rock around the world.

These aliens from distant galaxies make entire generations of fans dance all over the world, with hits such as Future Woman , Space Rock , One More Mission , Electric Delight , the reinterpretation of On the Road Again (a cover of the Canned Heat song of the same name), and Galactica , a 1980 hit that earned the band the Telegatto award for best foreign group in Italy, included in their fourth studio album, Galaxy , which also earned them a Platinum Record.

To celebrate the successes achieved in 50 years of career, the Rockets first revisited iconic songs with the project “Time machine” which has obtained over 2 million plays on Spotify and then created new music, releasing a new album of unreleased songs that came out last fall and is an interstellar musical journey, that is, it represents a return to the space sound and lyrics that have made the band famous and loved all over the world, where musical avant-garde and experimentation merge with the unmistakable musical imprint always current of the band, which has inspired the sounds of groups such as Daft Punk and Depeche Mode.
