Mountain - Climbing on walls and trees to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Cai of Castellanza - Archive - Varese News

In 2025, the Castellanza section of the Italian Alpine Club will celebrate 80 years since its foundation and will do so with a special event: “ Campo Base 80 ”, scheduled for June 14 and 15 in Piazza Castegnate . A weekend dedicated to the mountains, culture and inclusion, designed for all citizens.

Among the planned activities: climbing on the wall and in trees, information and cultural stands of the local and national CAI, of the “Guido Della Torre” Mountaineering School and of the partner Sport Specialist. There will be artistic moments, such as the “Climate Change” photography exhibition, the concert of the “Linee d'Archi” orchestra accompanied by readings by the “Voci narranti” (Saturday at 8:45 pm) and a film screening on Sunday evening.

Refreshment points curated by the cooperatives “La valle di Ezechiele” and “Il Progetto” are also planned. The inauguration is scheduled for Saturday 14 June at 16:00
