Villa Doney , public tender for the garden's assignment. The administration intends to continue promoting and developing cultural and local, recreational, and charitable activities for the benefit of the local community, conducted by cultural and volunteer associations and organizations that already operate or intend to begin operating in the Scandicci municipality.

For the free loan of the ' Garden of Villa Doney ', a call for proposals has been launched for anyone wishing to submit a project to enhance and maintain the area and, at the same time, organize social activities, particularly aimed at supporting disabled people.

The area is currently managed by the CUI (Italian Union for the Conservation of Urban Development), which created community gardens (pictured) there in 2014, by landscaping, providing water, and cultivating crops. The space will also be granted for a renewable five-year period. The deadline for submitting applications, by certified mail to the municipal address (the call for applications, complete with all attachments, is available online), is July 31st. Associations that operate or intend to operate within the municipal area, and those engaged in cultural and/or volunteer activities, are eligible to participate.
