Ukrinform journalist killed in overnight raid in Kiev region

Among the victims of the Russian air strike last night in the Kiev region is a journalist from Ukrinform, Tetiana Kulyk, author and host of the project 'Nation of the Invincibles' who served as editor-in-chief of the multimedia editorial team. This was written by the Ukrainian agency itself.
Kulyk "was a great journalist, she made many programs about our struggle and our heroes. Yesterday we talked about preparing an interview with Kyrylo Budanov. He will always remain in our hearts" and "we will avenge our colleague with materials exposing Russian war crimes," said Ukrinform's general director Serhiy Cherevaty.
Kulyk was killed along with her husband, surgeon Pavlo Ivanchov, when a Russian drone strike hit their home in the Bucha district of Kiev Oblast. The strike caused a fire in their home. Kulyk was a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine.
Before joining Ukrinform, she worked as the editor-in-chief of the public affairs program department and presenter at the Central Channel (Kdtrk), the world service of Ukrainian radio, and as a TV presenter at the public television. She studied at the National University of Culture and Arts of Ukraine.
According to the Institute of Mass Information of Ukraine, Tetiana Kulyk has become the 98th on the list of media workers killed by Russia since the invasion began three years ago. "Journalists are currently working in Ukraine under high-risk conditions" and "Russia's systematic crimes against journalists and media in Ukraine pose a serious threat to freedom of speech and information security, undermining democratic values and human rights," Ukrinform emphasizes.
